On this day in 1868, for the first time in the nation’s history, the U.S. Senate began the impeachment trial of President Andrew Johnson

 

March 31 will be Hat Day. Help support the 8th Grade D.C. trip by paying $1 to wear a hat all day. Stickers can be purchased during a.m. homeroom

 

Are you ready for your close-up? Talent show auditions will be held this Thursday March 16th from 2:15-3:30 in Ms. Fulbright’s room. We need a few more people to sign up or the show will have to be cancelled this year.

 

Any students grade 6-8 interested in signing up for baseball/softball need to put their name on the sign-up sheet in the office. You must have a signed “parental permission to play” form and a recent physical on file with the nurse to be able to attend tryouts. These items must be returned prior to tryouts and not later than March 24th. Coaches WILL NOT accept permission slips or physical forms at tryouts.

Tryouts will be held on March 27, 28, 29.

There will be no softball conditioning this week, and baseball conditioning will only be held Thursday March 16.

 

Weare/Henniker Youth Theater is having a St. Patrick's Day dance this Friday March 17th from 6:30-9:00, to raise money for its scholarship fund. Admission is $5 and snacks will be sold.  Wear green and get a raffle ticket to win prizes.  Hope to see everyone there!
