EVENTS:

On this day in 1985, Libby Riddles won the 1,135-mile Anchorage-to-Nome dog-sled race becoming the first woman to win the Iditarod. NH’s own Aliy Zirkle placed 8th in this year’s race.

March 31 will be Hat Day. Help support the 8th Grade D.C. trip by paying $1 to wear a hat all day. Stickers can be purchased during a.m. homeroom

Baseball and softball sign ups will close this Friday. You must have a signed “parental permission to play” form and a recent physical on file with the nurse to be able to attend tryouts. These items must be returned prior to tryouts and not later than March 24th. Coaches WILL NOT accept permission slips or physical forms at tryouts. The 3rd annual Fun Run 5K Race is on May 19 this year. Registration forms are available in the front office.

The Red Cross Babysitting class is being offered on March 27, 28, and 29 from 2:15 until 4:30. Permission forms are available in the health office.

The Scholastic Book Fair is here. March 20-24.  Come to the library to check out the selection of books.  Donate 50 cents to the All For Books container for a chance to win a poster. For Middle School Students:  You are welcome to come to the library during ELB 3 and 4 to check out the books or to purchase books.
